柳原一成―Kazunari Yanagihara―

東京・赤坂にて「柳原料理教室」主宰。
1942年、先代宗家・柳原敏雄の長男として東京に生まれる。
東京農業大学農学部卒業。
柳原料理教室にて日本料理の指導にあたる一方、自ら野菜を育て、魚を釣り、日本全国の食材を訪ねてまわるなど、食材そのものへの研究にも力を注いでいる。
現在、母校・東京農業大学客員教授。
儀礼文化学会常務理事。
日本醤油技術センター(旧・醤油検査協会)理事。

Kazunari Yanagihara

Born in Tokyo, the eldest son of Mr. Toshio Yanagihara Sendai Soke 宗家 who attended the Tokyo University of Agriculture and now heads the Yanagihara Cooking School. Mr. Kazunari Yanagihara gives lectures at Yanagihara Cooking School. He has focused on the continuing research of Japanese food, travelling around the country, growing his own vegetables and fishing his own fish, making his contribution to maintain Japanese food culture. Mr. Kazunari Yanagihara currently gives lectures as a visiting professor at Tokyo University of Agriculture, is Executive Director of Ritual Culture Society and Director of Japan Soy Sauce technology center.

 

柳原尚之―Naoyuki Yanagihara―

柳原料理教室 副主宰。
暁星幼、小、中、高校を経て、東京農業大学農学部醸造学科卒業。在学中、発酵食品学を学ぶ。 醸造学の中でも特に酢酸菌・醤油に造詣が深い。卒業後、小豆島のしょうゆ会社マルキン忠勇(株)の研究員として勤務。 その後、オランダ船籍の帆船スワンファンマッカム号に唯一のアジア人クルーとしてキッチンをつとめた。
現在、父・近茶流宗家柳原一成とともに、柳原料理教室にて、日本料理、茶懐石の研究指導にあたる。
また、アイスホッケー、自転車、茶道、舞踊と和洋静動問わず、幅広い分野に趣味をもつ。

Naoyuki Yanagihara

Mr. Naoyuki Yanagihara was born in Tokyo as the eldest son of Mr. Kazunari Yanagihara and Mrs. Noriko Yanagihara, is the next generation teaching at the cooking school and continues with the study and research about Kaiseki Cuisine, and other culinary forms from the Edo Period. After his studies at the Tokyo University of Agriculture, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Brewing and Fermentation he has worked as a researcher of soy sauce at Malkin Chuyu Co., Ltd. of Shodoshima. His experience abroad started as the only Asian crew member of the sail boat Swan fan Makkum from Holland. Mr. Naoyuki Yanagihara has also been taking his ideas overseas, lecturing about "Washoku" 和食 in many countries around the world.

In 2015 he was named as Japan Cultural Envoy by the Agency for Cultural Affairs of Japan.

Mrs. Noriko Yanagihara

Kinsa-Library 近茶文庫

Mrs. Noriko Yanagihara studied at Keio University and is married to Mr. Kazunari Yanagihara. Mrs. Noriko Yanagihara is in charge of the school´s public relations, media and communication. She is responsible of the heritage conservation of all the books of traditional Japanese cooking at the private Kinsa library 近茶文庫 and teaches Kaiseki cuisine at school.

Table manners お作法 and learning the right use of the variety of utensils - bowls, plates, dishes in a wide range of colours and made from different materials and finishes: lacquerware, pottery from everywhere in Japan are some of the things that Mrs. Noriko Yanagihara teaches and takes care of.
