Naoyuki Yanagihara Appears on NHK’s ”Kyō no Ryōri” on May 13

Naoyuki Yanagihara will appear on the NHK cooking program Kyō no Ryōri (“Today’s Cooking”) on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.

This episode marks the launch of a new series titled ”Shun to Iu Gochisō” (“The Feast of the Season”), which introduces easy-to-make recipes that highlight the appeal of seasonal ingredients.

The very first featured ingredient is katsuo (bonito), an essential ingredient in Japanese cuisine and food culture. During the program, Naoyuki shares many fascinating stories about katsuo and its role in Japanese cooking.
